How to use VEGU® to speak up at work — safely, respectfully, and anonymously.
What is VEGU®?
VEGU is a secure, anonymous channel to report workplace concerns — e.g., harassment, sexual harassment, discrimination, corruption, safety hazards, unethical or illegal activity, retaliation, etc. You can raise an issue privately and chat with your organization’s responders from Complaint Cells (ICC) without revealing your identity.
Most companies have Internal Complaint Cells (ICC); VEGU is designed to support the policies of those organizations by keeping the conversation anonymous.
Your organization sees your messages, timestamps, and metadata needed to manage the complaint — not your personal identity.

- VEGU desktop version is also available on MacOS
- Install and launch the app.

Following Up & Chat
- Responders may ask clarifying questions via the in-app chat.
- You’ll see status changes (e.g., Under Review, On Hold, Resolved) and threat level indicators.
- VEGU shows a red dot on a complaint when there’s new activity; opening the chat clears it.

Tips for Effective Complaints
- Share specific facts: who/what/when/where. Dates/times help.
- Describe any evidence clearly. VEGU plans to support attachments (photos/videos/files) in the near-future.
- Be respectful and truthful in reporting — misuse can delay help or unmasking your identify (Please refer to End User License Agreement for more details on unmasking).
Troubleshooting
- Not seeing replies? Try re-open the complaint.
- App timed out? For safety, VEGU auto-logs out after 5 minutes of inactivity — sign back in.
- Contact VEGU with any questions.
FAQ
Will my organization know who I am? Not unless you voluntarily share identifying info. VEGU is designed for safe and anonymous reporting.
Can I delete a complaint? You may choose "Cancel Complaint" option in the chat window of the complaint; however, your institution's responder(s) may keep the complaint open for auditing or tracking purpose..
My company isn’t onboarded — can I still report? Yes. Your report is emailed to the organization’s designated address with keywords extracted from your complaint.
