By default, all complaints and conversations on VEGU are anonymous — users do not provide names, phone numbers, or contact information when reporting.
However, in extreme cases (e.g. threats of violence or safety emergencies), a secure and auditable “Unmasking Process” may be initiated through the VEGU team. This is allowed only under valid, pre-agreed circumstances and requires institutional justification.
This ensures anonymity is respected, but not exploited — protecting both users and institutions.
