VEGU End-User License Agreement (Agreement) – v1.0

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the VEGU mobile application, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement set forth by Mihir Mobile Solutions (hereinafter referred to as Company). If you do not agree, you may not use the application.

2. Purpose of VEGU

VEGU is designed to help users (such as students or employees) submit complaints or feedback to their institutions in a secure, optionally anonymous manner. VEGU is not a law enforcement tool, emergency platform, or legal reporting channel.

3. User Responsibilities

• You agree to provide accurate information during registration.
• You are responsible for all submissions made using your account.
• You must not use VEGU to send defamatory, threatening, false, or illegal content.

4. Content Ownership

• You retain ownership of the messages you submit.
• By submitting a message, you grant VEGU and the receiving institution a license to review, store, and respond to the content.
• VEGU does not sell or share your identity with institutions unless legally required or administratively escalated.

5. Privacy and Anonymity

• VEGU protects your identity by design.
• Your personal details (email, phone, name) are never disclosed to responders.
• Anonymity is preserved unless you choose to reveal your identity or in case of legitimate emergency/legal unmasking requests reviewed by authorized VEGU administrators.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Abuse the platform by submitting spam, threats, or fake complaints.
• Attempt to bypass security mechanisms or impersonate others.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute VEGU without permission.

7. Termination of Access

VEGU reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or misuse the platform.

8. Definition of “Institution”

For the purpose of this Agreement, “Institution” refers to the organization to which a user is affiliated. This may include, but not limited to:

• Educational institutions such as colleges, universities, schools, or training centers.
• Employers, companies, government agencies, or any workplace enrolled in the VEGU platform.

VEGU facilitates secure communication between users and the designated Complaint Cell or Responder team within their Institution.

9. Changes to This Agreement

VEGU may update this EULA periodically. Continued use of the app after changes implies your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Intellectual Property

The VEGU app, including all designs, logos, source code, and platform logic, is the exclusive intellectual property of Mihir Mobile Solutions. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, or reproduce any part of the app or brand without prior written permission.

12. Privacy Policy

By using this app, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and consent to the practices described therein.

13. Application Refresh Disclaimer

The VEGU application may not always reflect real-time data due to connectivity, device caching, or system delays. You agree to manually refresh the app as needed per instructions provided within the application or by your mobile operating system.

14. Limitation of Liability and Complaint Processing Disclaimer

VEGU is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Institutional responses or lack of responsiveness from institutions
• Legal outcomes of complaint handling
• Loss of data or delays caused by technical issues

VEGU serves as a secure message-routing platform. The Company cannot guarantee acknowledgment, response, or remedial action from the institution or its Complaint Cell, and assumes no liability for the actions or inactions of such entities.

15. Extraordinary Circumstances and Identity Disclosure

In rare, extraordinary circumstances where your institution determines a situation to be life-threatening to you or others, the Company may disclose your identity to the authorized representative of your institution. This will only be done after receiving a formal written request via letter or official email that documents the extraordinary nature of the situation and confirms the authorization of the requesting party.

16. Legal Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws in your use of the VEGU platform. The Company reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement or legal orders when necessary.

17. OTP Consent

By entering your phone number or email address during registration or login, you agree to receive a one-time verification code (OTP) via SMS or email. Message and data rates may apply for SMS delivery. You understand that this OTP is necessary to verify your identity and allow secure access to the VEGU application.
